Club members are currently preparing to shoot a video for  the “WORLD OF 7 BILLION” contest. Students are required to create a short video (up to 60 seconds) about human population growth that highlights one of several global challenges. The students decided to focus on “Preserving Biodiversity” as the theme for their video.  About half of the club members will be working together on this project. Specifically, they will be researching and making their video about coral reefs, what they do for the ecosystem and the importance of preserving them. The other half of the club members will be concentrating their efforts on creating Solar Panels for Charging Stations within the school.  This group of students is working with Mr. Oberg to estimate cost of building materials. They need to determine where, within the school, these units could be placed. The charging units would be solar powered. We look forward to checking in with this club in a few months to check on their progress.
