On Wednesday, March 30th, the National English Honor Society hosted their annual Spring Showcase featuring student's spoken word, poetry, and musical performances. This event is one of the main fundraising opportunities for the charity of the students' choice. This year, the NEHS members wanted to help raise money for the North Caldwell Public Library that was destroyed early on in September due to Hurricane Ida. The event was a complete success. The NEHS raised over $500.00 and the event was attended by students, parents, administration, and even by the director of the North Caldwell library, Ms. Robin Rockman. She was so grateful and looks forward to putting the money to good use as they go through the rebuilding process.
