Twenty WEHS students from the Investors Club attended the opening bell at the Nasdaq on April 1st as guests of Tradeweb Markets Inc. Tradeweb is a financial technology company that builds and operates electronic over-the-counter marketplaces for trading fixed income products, ETFs, and derivatives, connecting institutional, wholesale, and retail clients globally. The father of West Essex alumni Sammy and Michael Friedman currently serves as General Counsel for Tradeweb. He graciously invited our club to attend the office and hear from a series of financial and business speakers. Topics included information on data careers, IPOs, key projects, and more. We are so grateful to Tradeweb and the Friedman family for hosting us!
