NJSLA Testing

West Essex Regional School District/ Academics/ NJSLA Testing

Beginning in the Spring of 2021, the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA) for English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics will only be administered to students in grades 3-9. Students in grades, 5, 8, and 11 will still be required to take the NJSLA in Science. More details about the assessments can be found at https://www.state.nj.us/education/assessment/

*Unit Testing Times 
ELA 7-9: 2 Units, 90 minutes each
Math 7, 8: 3 Units, 60 minutes each
Algebra I: 2 Units, 90 minutes each
Science 8, 11: 4 Units, 60 minutes each
(*Note: Times do not include IEP/504 Extended Time accommodations)
