Board of Education
The West Essex Regional School District Board of Education exists for the purpose of providing a thorough and efficient system of free public education in grades seven through twelve in the West Essex Regional School District.
The Board is comprised of 9 elected members: 3 from Fairfield, 3 from North Caldwell, 2 from Roseland, and 1 from Essex Fells. The number of seats is determined by each town's population.

Business Office
The West Essex Business Office oversees the financial and operational aspects of the school district, manages the budget, handles accounting and purchasing, oversees facilities and food services, and ensures compliance with state regulations.

Central Office
The West Essex Central Office supports and oversees various aspects of the school district's operations. It is the hub for administrative, instructional, operational, and communicative functions. The office works with the board to develop and implement policies related to curriculum, instruction, student services, personnel, and operations.

Supporting Students’ Academic, Career, & Personal Growth
The West Essex Regional School District Guidance Department is available throughout the day to assist students with a variety of issues, concerns, and requests.
The mission of the guidance program is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. Counselors will work with educators, parents or guardians, and the community to facilitate a support system, ensuring that all students attending West Essex are prepared to perform at the highest level and become contributing members of society. School Nurses
Advancing Student Health, Safety, & Success
School Nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being, academic success, and life-long achievement of students. Certified School Nurses of New Jersey are Registered Professional Nurses with advanced degrees and certification in the specialty of School Nursing. Certified School Nurses hold a standard teaching certificate to provide health curriculum instruction for grades K-12. To that end, school nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development. Certified School Nurses promote health and safety, intervene with actual and potential health problems, and actively collaborate with administration, teachers, and support staff to build strong student/family relationships for student self-management, self-advocacy, and learning. The mission of the West Essex Regional School District is to instruct all students in the same curriculum, with modifications and strategies available to those students with differing learning abilities. To that end, the Department of Special Services is designed as a network of human services whereby each dimension of the overall system connects and communicates in such a way that all children with special needs are served optimally, and all parents of children with special needs are significantly involved in the delicate delivery system.
